Time will tell what we have passed on to those around us and to the future generation. I want to encourage us to leave behind a legacy of truth, and that we have passed on the torch, so to speak.
Now all of us have failed, some more, some less, but we all have failed.
That is what the Bible says in Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" But lets not go on record that we did not change.
We read in 2Tim. 2:2 "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."
It is imperative that we have the truth and live the truth so we can pass it on. Look at the news. Too many people are passing on a way of life that is selfish, violent, sexually perverted, and materialistic. Satan has them blinded and enslaved. What they are doing they think is OK and they defend it.
Can we, by the standard of the Bible advise those that follow us to take what they have learned from us, teach it to other faithful persons and let them teach others also. Or do we say, do as I say, not as I do.
In John 14:6* Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
With Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, Yes, Savior and Lord, we can live a life of giving, peaceful, pure, and Spiritual. We can teach those around us the way so they can have the resources to teach others.
God Bless you in your journey of life.
